I've known Eddie since 2017 and have always been inspired by his walk with Christ. I've come to know him as committed to his mission, devoted to others, and genuinely kind. When I found out that he rapped shortly after moving to Atlanta, let's just say, I was pleasantly shocked! So I wanted to have a part in telling some of his story for others as he is building an empire in the Christian music genre and beyond.
Isn’t it amazing how we can deliberate on what makes us a success, more likeable, sexier, more ideal, and never truly get to know the essence of ourselves. How is this even a thing? Yet, it happens all the time. Have you ever chatted with somebody that gives all of the answers they’re supposed to give, the politically correct ones? Or maybe you’ve encountered the person who repeats everything trending, and by the end of the conversation, you wonder, did they actually feel that way, or was that just regurgitated?

Being Joyful does not mean being happy. However, you can be happy about having Joy. And I really hope that frees someone like it freed me. Not being able to check off the box of “completely happy” does not mean that you are not expecting God’s best for your life. What it does mean is concluding and accepting that all is well beyond comprehension. It means that you trust God and His person. It means you believe He’ll show up. It is not circumstantial.
